Privacy deserves care too.

Your information deserves careful handling
This policy concerns deepplanefaceliftbrazil.com, the English-language website of Dr. Walter Zamarian Jr. It explains what happens when you browse the site or contact the team from another country. It is separate from the information and consent documents provided for a medical consultation or treatment.
You can read about surgery without sending us your name, photographs, or medical history. Please do not use a website inquiry to send medical records, intimate photographs, or urgent symptoms. Ask the team how to share information securely when it is needed for your care. This website is not an emergency service.
Who to contact
Dr. Walter Zamarian Jr. is responsible for the personal information handled through this website. The practice is in Londrina, Paraná, Brazil. For privacy questions or requests about your information, email contato@walterzamarianjr.com. You may also use the contact page to ask the team to direct your request appropriately.
We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing personal information. Please initially describe your request without attaching identity documents or medical records; we will explain what is needed.
Information associated with your visit
Browsing and technical information. Website delivery and security services can receive information such as your IP address, browser, device, requested page, and time of access. Optional measurement tools can associate page views and clicks with browser identifiers and the campaign or link that brought you here.
Information you choose to provide. The inquiry form asks for contact details and lets you add a message and contact preference. It prepares a WhatsApp message for you to continue the conversation. Opening WhatsApp and sending the message are separate actions. WhatsApp’s own privacy terms also apply when you use that service.
Contact attribution. Links may include a contact reference so the team can identify where an inquiry began. When optional measurement is enabled, the site’s contact-event integration can also send contact details supplied in the form, together with technical and campaign identifiers. Contact identifiers may be hashed before being sent to Meta for matching. Hashing does not make those identifiers anonymous. Measurement also uses technical and campaign information for Google Analytics; these records should not be confused with your medical record.
Why information is used
The practice uses contact information to respond to your request and organize a possible consultation. Technical records support website operation, troubleshooting, and protection against misuse. Optional analytics and advertising measurement help assess how visitors find the site and whether a campaign leads to an inquiry.
The legal basis depends on the activity and applicable law. Responding to a consultation request can involve steps you request before entering into a service arrangement. Necessary security processing and legal obligations have distinct purposes. Optional tracking must follow the applicable consent requirements. Medical information is subject to additional protections and is not treated as ordinary website marketing information.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small records stored by your browser. This site also uses session storage. Some records support your cookie choice or a contact reference; others support optional analytics or advertising attribution.
The site stores your cookie choice and may use browser, campaign, and session identifiers for measurement. Rejecting optional measurement prevents the optional tools controlled by that choice from being activated. You can still contact the practice without agreeing to optional tracking.
Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer to reopen the choices after dismissing the initial notice. Withdrawing consent stops future optional processing under that choice; it does not automatically delete information already received by a provider or remove every third-party cookie. You can also use your browser’s storage controls and contact us about information already held.
Videos, maps, and external services
Playing an embedded video connects your browser to YouTube. The interactive map loads only when you select “Load Google Maps.” Loading it or opening the directions link connects you to Google Maps. These services receive technical information needed to supply their content and operate under their own privacy terms. A locally displayed video preview is different from activating the video player.
Following a WhatsApp link opens a separate messaging service. Please review the privacy settings for the account and device you use. We cannot control the privacy practices of an external website merely because we link to it.
Service providers and international processing
Service providers support website delivery, error monitoring, communications, and measurement. These include Amazon Web Services for hosting and technical infrastructure, Sentry for error monitoring, Google for measurement and content services, and Meta services for advertising measurement and WhatsApp messaging. The practice also uses its contact-management systems to organize inquiries and their source.
Because the practice is in Brazil and visitors and providers may be elsewhere, processing can involve more than one country. Applicable safeguards and the purpose of each transfer must be assessed for the actual services used. Visiting from another country does not mean your information remains in that country.
Retention and your rights
For inquiries that do not lead to medical care, our retention policy provides for deletion of personal inquiry data after three years without meaningful interaction from you. Automated messages from the practice do not restart that period. Medical records and information subject to a documented legal retention requirement are handled separately. You may request deletion earlier where applicable; the three-year period does not limit your rights. Cookie expiry and server-side retention are different: deleting a browser cookie does not delete information already held by the practice or a provider.
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, information about sharing, deletion or restriction where available, and withdrawal of consent. Some requests are subject to exceptions, including legal record-keeping obligations. Contact us to discuss your request. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority, including Brazil’s ANPD and, where applicable, the authority in your country.
Updates
We may update this policy when our services or the way information is handled changes. Please contact the practice if you have questions about the version available on this website.
